EDUCATION

LMARS holds classes throughout the year to help fellow Hams in preparing for their Technician, General, and Extra exams.

Part of our endeavors include the classroom education of amateur radio in schools. LMARS will contribute to any school that wishes to add amateur radio to their curriculum.

Meetings and Membership

New club members are always welcome. LMARS has a monthly meeting where we attend to club business, hold a presentation related to Ham radio, and get together with other Hams. Visit our Membership page to find out where and when we meet.

LMARS is proud to be an ARRL Special Services Club

An ARRL Special Services Clulb designation is given to a club that exists to go above and beyond for their communities and for Amateur Radio is what defines a Special Service Club (SSC). They are the leaders in their Amateur Radio communities who provide active training classes, publicity programs and actively pursue technical projects and operating activities.
