Straight Key Night - New Year's Eve
Posted on December 27, 2016

Every New Year’s eve a special on-the-air activity called “Straight Key Night” occurs. This is when you operate with a straight key or bug to contact other hams and make new friends in CW.

This means each year from 7:00PM ET Dec 31 for 24 hours.

For details, click here.

This gives you all the details in this fun event. It's not a contest, but rather an opportunity to demonstrate your CW. Just call CQ SKN de (your callsign).

Frequencies where you will find others are:
3.525 to 3.535, 7.025 to 7.035 and 14.025 to 14.035 MHz.
