LMARS will be hosting a Special Event Station Celebrating Florida Statehood.

As Florida commemorates its statehood anniversary, March 3, 1845, LMARS, Lake Monroe Amateur Radio Society will come together to celebrate this significant milestone.

The event will host 2 stations and operate CW and voice.

If you want to have Fun and play radio, this is for you! If you have never made a HF contact, this is for you! If you want to practice and improve, this is for you! We will be operating and sharing Florida's Statehood with those we communicate with and there will also be a special certificate available for all those we log contact with.

Date: March 9, 2024

Operating Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm

Setup: Starts at 9.00am

Location: Torcaso Park, 104 N Moss Rd, Winter Springs, FL 32708 We will be located either in front of WSPD or we will be between the PD and the soccer field.

We are looking folks to help us with setup and teardown. If you can help please let Rich and Joe know.
