LMARS Club Operation
LMARS will set up and operate from the Welch trailer at Torcaso Park in Winter Springs. LMARS invites all club members to assist with trail setup and operation. The trailer, large generator, tri-band antenna, and dipole will be set up will begin Saturday at 9:30 AM at Torcaso Park with disassembly starting promptly at 4:00 PM on Sunday. We aim to be fully loaded out of Torcaso Park by 6:00 PM.
N4EH Contest Operation
LMARS will operate single sideband (SSB) under the club’s callsign N4EH on any HF bands. Our ICOM IC-7300 radio and N3FJP logging software on a club laptop will be utilized for this event. The optimal contesting setup utilizes one radio operator and one logging operator.
OBJECT: For radio amateurs outside of the state of Kansas to make contact with as many Kansas stations in as many Kansas counties as possible.
CONTEST PERIOD: Starts the last Saturday of August. For 2023, the Kansas QSO Party dates will be August 26th- 27th.
